scarab is evolving from a heavy, memory sucking beast into a lightweight, distributed and fast bird. Or flying insect. scarab was reviewed, criticised, praised and lifted to levels I couldn't imagine that it could be taken to.
Now, all that remains is to let it roam into the commercial domain where money rules. Still, most do not understand what it actually does. scarab is not the answer to world hunger or web 3.0. scarab helps reduce overheads and opex to enterprises where vast amounts of related and unrelated data reside in warehouses, waiting to be netted in, massaged and presented as knowledge that can be manipulated by high level execs in silk ties.
